Our Ministry in Malawi

We teach theology and Bible classes at the African Bible College (ABC) in Lilongwe, Malawi—a country of 14 million located in S.E. Africa.  Our goal is to train African Christian leaders who will strengthen the African Church that will shape the future of Christianity.

My wife Laura, our three daughters and I live on the ABC college campus with more than 250 students.  Our graduates typically become teachers, school headmasters, pastors, radio broadcasters, social workers and government officials.

·          Davidson Chifungo, class of ’97, is the General Secretary of the million-member Nkhoma Synod of the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP).

·          Emmanuel Thawale, class of ‘03, is a news anchor on Malawian television.

·          Fletcher Matandika, class of ‘02, founded Ministry of Hope—an orphan care program that feeds more than 1,500 orphans.

Almost every major Christian ministry in Malawi has an ABC graduate on staff.
